About Me:

Greetings, my fellow horror addicts!  Allow me to introduce myself: You may address me as 'Mr. Spooky' and I will be blogging about horror culture, from movies to television shows to collectors to books/stories.

I was born in Chicago, IL on the city's north side in the late 80s.  The first horror movie I ever saw was 'Candyman.'  Growing up in the city where my first horror movie was made an immediate connection and appreciation for the culture.  This was the beginning of my journey through the eerie and odd, the weird and macabre, everything exciting in life!  I've embarked on this blogging journey to connect with fellow enthusiasts, dissect our favorite tales, and unearth hidden gems that lurk in the shadows.

We're going to celebrate horror culture in various forms, from showcasing YouTube channels and social media profiles to book and movie/tv reviews.  Expect the reviews to dissect the suspenseful intricacies of films, discussions about the psychological underpinnings of our favorite characters, and explorations of the folklore that has given birth to our most enduring nightmares.
